Government Affairs & Grants Program

The Lancaster General Health Government Affairs & Grants Program works with numerous organizations and community partners to secure federal, state, and private funding to deliver quality patient care, utilize medical advancements and technologies, and continue to meet the need for new and specialized services that advance the health and well-being of the communities we serve.

In the last fiscal year, the program generated almost $4.1 million in grant awards for medical research, capital improvements, patient services and prevention throughout the system.

Funders included the federal government (12.38%), state government (75.95%) and foundations (11.67%). The Grants Program also supported compliance for 33 active grants in collaboration with project directors and the related departments.
