Lancaster General Hospital was located in a small row home on North Queen Street when we welcomed our first patient in 1893. We have grown over the past 125 years to become Lancaster General Health, a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health system that constantly strives to provide innovative and compassionate care, and to make our community among the healthiest in the nation. As a part of Penn Medicine, we provide local access to the world’s most advanced research and clinical trials, leading to one-of-a-kind cures.

Your life is our legacy, and to us, that's worth everything.
